If you enter a search term into the search bar that is present at the top of every server page, your filter settings from the Search Results page do not affect your current search. The universal search uses the following settings by default:
Include Subfolders
Start at the top-most folder visible to the user
Search for reports, report outputs, or other resources
Sort alphabetically by name

Avoid searching for folder names. Avoid entering quotes around terms or symbols between terms. Avoid being concerned with upper or lower-case letters with search terms.
