To access the Search Results page, select View > Search Results. Unlike the Repository, resources are categorized on the Search Results page by intuitive filters instead of folders. Filters are helpful in refining your searches. You can set each filter independently of the others, based on four main groupings:

  • User Availability:

    • All available (Default) : Displays all resources.

    • Modified by me: Selects only the resources last modified by the current user.

    • Viewed by me: Selects only the resources that have been run and viewed by the current user. In addition to visualization types, this also captures images and other resources included in reports.

  • Resources:

    • All types (Default) : Displays all types of resources.

    • Reports: Displays only reports.

    • Report outputs: Displays the output from reports scheduled to run in the background. Report output can be any of the supported export types, including HTML and PDF.

    • Dashboards: Displays only dashboards.

    • Domains: Displays only Domains.

    • Data Sources: Displays only data sources.

  • Access Time (All time is relative to the current user's effective time zone).

    • Any time: Displays all resources.

    • Today: Displays resources modified or viewed since the previous midnight.

    • Yesterday: Displays resources modified or viewed during the previous day, ending at midnight.

    • Past week: Displays resources modified or viewed during the past seven days, including today.

    • Past month: Displays resources modified or viewed during the past thirty days, including today.

  • Schedules

    • Any schedule: Displays all resources.

    • Scheduled: Displays reports that have scheduled jobs.

    • Scheduled by me: Displays reports that have jobs scheduled by the current user.

    • Not scheduled: Displays reports that have no scheduled jobs, as well as all other resource types.

Use either the Filters panel or the Repository search field to find resources. To search all resources in the Repository, complete the following steps:

  1. From the first set of filters, select one of  All available,  Modified by me, or  Viewed by me

  2. From the second set of filters, select  All types

  3. Ensure that the Repository search bar is clear.

  4. Click the  Search icon  .

The Search Results page populates with resources available to your user account. Right click a resource to see the available functions from the context menu, or click the resource to view it. The server saves your most frequent settings on the Search Results page, rendering commonly searched resources visible when you return to the page. Note: The search term you enter in the search bar of the Search Results page is not cleared automatically. To clear the search term, click the Delete icon  in the search bar.
