The following menu items are available at the top of every page in Zoola™, including the Home page:

 

Menu Item

Description

Home IconZoola Logo

Clicking this icon takes you back to the Home page.

Library

Clicking this icon displays a pared-down repository page that contains the Ad Hoc views, reports, and dashboards accessible to the current user.

View

Hovering over this icon displays the following items:

  • Search Results: Displays the repository of resources filtered by criteria selected in the Filters panel.

  • Repository: Displays the repository of files and folders containing resources, such as reports, report output, data sources, and images.

  • Schedules: Lists the Reports that you have scheduled.

  • Messages: Lists system messages (such as an error in a scheduled report).

Manage

Ad Hoc Views

Hovering over this menu item displays the following items:

  • Create New: Displays the Select Data area, allowing you to draw data from an existing Data Source
  • View Existing: Opens the Repository, specifically filtered by Ad Hoc Views

Reports

Hovering over this menu item displays the following item:

  • View Existing: Opens the Repository, specifically filtered by Reports

    • Note: To build Reports, you must do so through an Ad Hoc View

Dashboards

Hovering over this menu item displays the following items:

  • Organizations: Opens the Manage Organizations page.

  • Users: Opens the Manage Users page.

  • Roles: Opens the Manage Roles page.

Create

Hovering over this icon
  • Create New: Opens the Dashboard Designer
  • View Existing: Opens the Repository, specifically filtered by Dashboards

Data Sources

Hovering over this menu item displays the following items:

  • Ad Hoc View: Launches the Ad Hoc Editor for designing views interactively.

  • Dashboard: Launches the Dashboard Designer for laying out multiple reports with input controls, labels, and images.

  • Data Source: Launches the Data Source Designer for setting up a Data Source.Create New: Opens the Add New Data Source page
  • View Existing: Opens the Repository, specifically filtered by Data Sources
Schedules

Hovering over this menu item displays the following item:

  • View Existing: Opens the Schedules page, displaying scheduled jobs for Reports and Dashboards

 

If you log in as an administrator, the Home page has additional options and menu items for managing users, roles, organizations, and settings (e.g repository folder names). On the right side of the toolbar, you can always access the Back to LMS and Help icons, as well as the search bar.
