Input Controls are selections of Filters that allow you to refresh the specified Dashlets with current data, based on your specific input criteria. For presentation and evaluation purposes, Input Controls transform your Dashboard from a static example to a dynamic tool.
Parameters allow you to map specific filters to specific Dashlets, so that your Input Controls can affect various combinations of features and data within your Dashboard.
