The Face-to-Face with Certifications Data Source is a curated selection of LMS data that enables you to create Reports on up-to-date records on the time and status of face-to-face sessions in certificate programs. Relevant items in this Data Source include the Superceded, Sign-Up Status, Certification Name, Certification Available From/Until, Face-to-Face ID, Start Date, and Start Time.
The Face-to-Face with Certifications Data Source is located in the Public folder in the Zoola™ Repository. To locate the Data Source in either the Repository or the Data Chooser (when selecting a Data Source to create an Ad Hoc View), navigate to Public > Totara > Data Sources.
This Data Source contains LMS data organized to report on the face-to-face information for learners in your courses, mapped to certification completions. “Face-to-Face" and "Certification” information consists of measures and fields that track the times, dates, and statuses of face-to-face sessions, including relevant information such as user IDs, surrounding course information, and sign-up data. The certification-oriented component of this Data Source maps certification availability and completion statuses to the face-to-face information. Using fields and measures from the three sets included in this Data Source, you can easily build out Reports and Views to track face-to-face session and certification status tracking for users in courses.
The links along the right-hand side of this article will open the Face-to-Face Attendance With Certifications View. If you are logged in to Zoola™, this view will open in the Ad Hoc Editor. The left-hand View panel will display the contents of the Face-to-Face with Certifications Data Source, organized into sets of items (as both fields and measures).
All included sets are comprised of selections from the tables listed in the Totara table, located at the end of the right-hand column.
Specifically, the Face-to-Face with Certifications Data Source is comprised of the following sets:
Course: Items (fields and measures) in the Courses set provide naming and categorization data for your LMS courses.
User: Items in the User set provide user identification information, such as user ID's, names, locations, and other LMS profile-related data.
Certification: Items in the Certification set provide availability dates, sort orders, and completion information for certifications.
Face-to-Face: Items in the Face-to-Face set provide dates, start times, statuses, and signup information for face-to-face sessions.
