The Learning Plan Domain is a curated selection of LMS data that enables you to create Reports on the progress and objectives completion of learner plans. Relevant items in this Domain include the Plan Status, Competency Due Date, Competency Reason For Decision, Objective Achieved, Objective Approval, Program Priority, and the Manual Objective of users in courses.

The Learning Plan Domain is located in the Public folder in the Zoola™ Repository. To locate the Domain in either the Repository or the Data Chooser (when selecting a Domain to create an Ad Hoc View), navigate to Public > Totara > Domains.

This Domain contains LMS data organized to report on the plan progress of learners in your courses. “Plan Progress” information consists of measures and fields that track the progress, status, and objectives of learner plans, such as progress status, objective approvals, and program priorities. Using fields and measures from the six sets included in this Domain, you can easily build out Reports and Views to track the progress of learning plans for users in your courses.

The links along the right-hand side of this article will open the Learner Plan Progress Chart View, Learning Plan Progress Table View, Objectives Progress Chart View, and the Objectives Progress Table View, respectively. If you are logged in to Zoola™, these views will open in the Ad Hoc Editor. The left-hand View panel will display the contents of the Learning Plan Domain, organized into sets of items (as both fields and measures).

All included sets are comprised of selections from the tables listed in the Totara table, located at the end of the right-hand column.

Specifically, the Learning Plan Domain is comprised of the following sets:

  • Course: Items (fields and measures) in the Courses set provide naming and categorization data for your LMS courses.

  • User: Items in the User set provide user identification information, such as user ID's, names, locations, and other LMS profile-related data.

  • Learning Plan: Items in the Learning Plan set provide plan status data, such as the end and start dates, completion dates, and statuses.

  • Competencies: Items in the Competencies set provide competency data, such as the end and start dates, approvals, and statuses.

  • Objectives: Items in the Objectives set provide objectives status data, such as the due dates, statuses, approvals, and priorities.

  • Programs: Items in the Programs set provide program status data, such as due dates, approvals, and manual programs.
