The Moodle Log Domain is a curated selection of LMS data that enables you to create Reports on the last action log actions and access record records in the log of your Moodle LMS users. Relevant data items in this Domain include the Log ActionEntry ID, IP Address, Log TimeReal User ID, and the URL associated to user log Context data.

The Moodle Log Domain is located in the Public folder in the Zoola™ Repository. To locate the Domain in either the Repository or the Data Chooser (when selecting a Domain to create an Ad Hoc View), navigate to Public > Moodle /Totara > Domains.

This Domain contains LMS data organized to report on [DOMAIN FUNCTION PITCH]. “[DOMAIN FUNCTION KEYWORD]” information consists of [DOMAIN FUNCTION PITCH EXPLAN.]. Using the log information of users in your Moodle LMS. “Log information” consists of fields and measures that track the most recent session of your users, displaying records of their IP, actions, log times, and modules. Using  fields and measures from the two sets included in this Domain, you can easily build out Reports and Views to track [DOMAIN TRACKING FUNCTION]. The links along the right-hand side of this article will open the [DOMAIN VIEW] and the [DOMAIN VIEW 2, X], respectively. If you are logged in to Zoola™, these views will open in the Ad Hoc Editor. The left-hand View panel will display the contents of the Moodle Log Domain, organized into sets of items (as both fields and measures). the access record of your Moodle LMS users

All included sets are comprised of selections from the tables listed in the Moodle /Totara table, located at the end of the right-hand column.

Specifically, the Moodle Log Domain is comprised of the following sets:

  • CourseUserItems (fields and measures) in the Courses User set provide naming and categorization data for your LMS courses.user identification information, such as user ID's, names, locations, and other LMS profile-related data.

  • Log: Items in the Log set provide session access records, such as log time, IP, and URL information.

  • Module: Items in the Module set provide module identification information, such as module ID's, instance names, and module types.

  • Related User: Items in the Related User set provide user identification informationrecords, allowing you to access information of users affected by identified actions.

  • Course: Items in the Course set provide course information, such as user ID's, namesstart dates, locations, and other LMS profile-related data.
