The Moodle Log Domain is a curated selection of LMS data that enables you to create Reports on the log actions and access records in the log of your Moodle LMS users. Relevant items in this Domain include the Log Entry ID, IP Address, Real User ID, and the log Context data.

The Moodle Log Domain is located in the Public folder in the Zoola™ Repository. To locate the Domain in either the Repository or the Data Chooser (when selecting a Domain to create an Ad Hoc View), navigate to Public > Moodle > Domains.

This Domain contains LMS data organized to report on the log information of users in your Moodle LMS. “Log information” consists of fields and measures that track the most recent session of your users, displaying records of their IP, actions, log times, and modules. Using  fields and measures from the two sets included in this Domain, you can easily build out Reports and Views to track the access record of your Moodle LMS users

All included sets are comprised of selections from the tables listed in the Moodle table, located at the end of the right-hand column.

Specifically, the Moodle Log Domain is comprised of the following sets:

  • User: Items in the User set provide user identification information, such as user ID's, names, locations, and other LMS profile-related data.

  • Log: Items in the Log set provide session access records, such as log time, IP, and URL information.

  • Module: Items in the Module set provide module identification information, such as module ID's, instance names, and module types.

  • Related User: Items in the Related User set provide user records, allowing you to access information of users affected by identified actions.

  • Course: Items in the Course set provide course information, such as ID's, start dates, sort orders, and full course names.
