The Users and Courses Domain is a curated selection of LMS data that enables you to create Reports on standard user and course information, and serves as a useful building-block for creating new custom Domains. Relevant items in this Domain include the Course Full Name and ID, Course Start Date, Institution, Department, and associated User data.

The Users and Courses Domain is located in the Public folder in the Zoola™ Repository. To locate the Domain in either the Repository or the Data Chooser (when selecting a Domain to create an Ad Hoc View), navigate to Public > Moodle/Totara > Domains.

This Domain contains LMS data curated to enable configurable reporting on standard user and course information drawn from relevant LMS profiles. “Standard user and course information” information consists of fields that enable you to track course profile data and associated user information, such as course names, start dates, category depth, user cities, institutions, and ID's. Using fields and measures from the two sets  included in this Domain, you can easily build out Reports and Views to track course and user profile information.

All included sets are comprised of selections from the tables listed in the Moodle/Totara table, located at the end of the right-hand column.

Specifically, the Users and Courses Domain is comprised of the following sets:

  • Course: Items (fields and measures) in the Courses set provide naming and categorization data for your LMS courses.

  • User: Items in the User set provide user identification information, such as user ID's, names, locations, and other LMS profile-related data.
