The Certificates and Grades Domain is a curated selection of LMS data that enables you to create Reports on progress and grading milestones of individual learners, courses and groups. Relevant data sets in items in this Domain include Final Grades, Certificates, Time Spent, and Maximum Grades of activities and courses for groups and users
The Certificates and Grades Domain is located in the Public folder in the Zoola™ Repository. To locate the Domain in either the Repository or the Data Chooser (when selecting a Domain to create an Ad Hoc View), navigate to Public > Moodle/Totara > Domains.
This Domain contains LMS data organized to report on the grading and certification statuses and progress of your courses, users, and groups. “Grading and certification” information consists of fields and measures that track the grading and certification results and progress of your users, groups, and courses—such as grade items, activity types, time spent, and maximum and final grades. Using fields and measures from the four sets included in this Domain, you can easily build out Reports and Views to track monitor grading and certification trends and progress for users, groups, and courses.
The links along the right-hand side of this article will open the Grades, Time, and Certificates View. If you are logged in to Zoola™, these views will open in the Ad Hoc Editor. The left-hand View panel will display the contents of the Certificates and Grades Domain, organized into sets of items (as both fields and measures).
All included sets are comprised of selections from the tables listed in the Moodle/Totara table, located at the end of the right-hand column.
Specifically, the Certificates and Grades Domain is comprised of the following sets:
Course: Items (fields and measures) in the Courses set provide naming and categorization data for your LMS courses.
User: Items in the User set provide user identification information, such as user ID's, names, locations, and other LMS profile-related data.
Group: Items in the Group set provide group names and ID's to connect grading and certification data to grouping information.
Items: Items in the Items set track grading and certification data, including final and itemized grades, as well as certificates and time spent.
